While I would admit creating basic Flash animations requires less programming than java applets, I would not say Flash requires no programming skills. According to the
w3schools website, "Flash does not require programming skills and is easy to learn." The statement is misleading.
I guess I learned Flash the hard way, since I began learning using ActionScript 2.0 with Flash MX 2004. ActionScript 2.0 is an object-oriented programming language supporting full class inheritance, interfaces, XML object models, database connections, and debugging.
A simple Flash animation may require zero programming skills, but that is a simple one. I would choose not to belittle a Flash developer by saying, "Flash requires no programming skills."
